Remember when you were a kid and you just could not wait for Christmas? What are some of the things you remember most? I remember traveling to my Grandparents house and the way my Grandmothers house smelled of gingerbread, pies, turkey and all the other special things she would make. I remember going to buy the Christmas tree and how the lot smelled of fresh pine needles. My favorite memories are of my brothers and sister and I making paper chains, snowflakes, gingerbread man cutout garlands and various other ornaments and decorations which we were allowed to hang around the living room and add to the Christmas tree. My job in decorating the tree was a very special one. I got to put the tinsel on after everything else was in place. I loved being able to help decorate our Christmas tree. Being the youngest and smallest it made me feel big.

I’m working in a school where we have a Secret Santa thing. We give our secret Santa gifts daily for a week along with clues to our identity. I want to do something different and a little more fun than just saying I have blue eyes or something similar.

Last year my Secret Santa gave me a part of a Christmas song each day with two letters of my name highlighted. Before the weekend had all the lyrics and just had to put them together in the correct order. Any creative ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I don’t have a big budget but I want to do something really different and revive the spirit of fun. I thought about getting a Santa letter sent. (This for an adult).

What do you think?  Have you ever sent one?

First up I want a box of peace and quiet to reflect on how lucky I was.

Secondly I want small amount of spare time to enjoy my family more. I should then be a large source of sanity, to focus more on the good in people. Would have come after a large bag of patience to get over the rough spots. As my current supply is running short.

I really need another article I ‘m told, is a new sense of humor, and it would be really handy if it came with a fresh source of jokes, as my little ones have told me the ones I use are terribly outdated.

And lastly some new rechargeable batteries and a recharger unit would be great. The old batteries are being used up.  We need them lasting longer and they will recharge properly. While I have kids also need to recharge quicker after work, and in these modern days when you can get quick reloads in everything else, so why not me. Santa please help.
